Cleaning and care
Cleaning and care
For everyday care, our rugs love a good vacuum or shake to remove general debris. Light marks can be lifted with a little detergent and a white cloth, leaving your rug looking fresh in minutes. When it’s time for a deeper clean, machine wash at 40 degrees using a non-bio detergent.
For larger rugs (over 180 x 120cm), we recommend a quick wash at your local launderette, as they can be a squeeze in a domestic machine.
Our rugs emerge from the washing machine virtually dry, so simply hang on the line to fully air dry. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.
Microfibres
While the majority of our products are fully machine washable, we urge you to only do so when they really need it. This small step will significantly reduce the impact of microfibre shedding and prolong the life of your products. Read more about that here: Tackling Microfibres.
An ecru warp and fringing make these Kilim Stella rugs a great option for both classic and contemporary interiors. Lifting the design, they're easy to live with and colour match.

Weaver Green rugs are skillfully hand-loomed in India by craftspeople who are paid fairly and provided with comfortable working conditions.
Made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, our yarn is designed to look and feel just like real wool. Each rug is unique, meaning minor variations in colour and size can be expected.

All rugs perform at their best when used with good quality rug underlay. Not only will underlay keep your Nomad Stella Rug in place, it also adds to the cushioning and helps to protect the floor beneath.

We are thrilled with our Nomad Stella as we have been for our two previous rugs from Weaver Green (a Nomad Patara and a Nomad Atlas runner). They are perfect in old houses like this that have Ham stone and Blue Lias flagstones (especially with a mesh non-slip underlay) as they allow the stone to 'breathe'. We choose the ethnic/kilim patterns as they go so well with the interiors. We like these rugs so much we hope to get another when the style is in stock again.
