Cleaning and care

Washing

Our Maxime Blue Canvas Aprons can be washed either by hand with a light detergent, or pop them in the washing machine on a 30-40 degree cycle using non-biological washing detergent.

Allow to air dry naturally. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.

Microfibres

While the majority of our products are fully machine washable, we urge you to only do so when they really need it. This small step will significantly reduce the impact of microfibre shedding and prolong the life of your products. Read more about that here: Tackling Microfibres.

With a useful double front pocket, these sturdy blue aprons have the look and feel of cotton canvas yet, thanks to being made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, are immune to dirt and spills and will emerge from the wash as good as new.

Long enough to protect your trousers from stains and spills, these classic aprons offer the kind of practicality and versatility you'd expect from a man-made fabric with all the style and comfort of natural canvas.

In washed-out blue with vertical grain sack stripes, our aprons are just as well suited to life in a kitchen as they are behind deli counters, in cafes and restaurants, art studios or out in the garden.

The only difference between our amazing canvas fabric and the traditional cotton version is that ours is made entirely from recycled plastic yarn. The result is a beautiful, soft and sturdy canvas fabric that ages brilliantly, is resistant to water and stains, and can be machine washed to restore it's full glory.
