Cleaning and care
Cleaning and care
For everyday care, our rugs love a good vacuum or shake to remove general debris. Light marks can be lifted with a little detergent and a white cloth, leaving your rug looking fresh in minutes. When it’s time for a deeper clean, machine wash at 40 degrees using a non-bio detergent.
For larger rugs (over 180 x 120cm), we recommend a quick wash at your local launderette, as they can be a squeeze in a domestic machine.
Our rugs emerge from the washing machine virtually dry, so simply hang on the line to fully air dry. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.
Microfibres
While the majority of our products are fully machine washable, we urge you to only do so when they really need it. This small step will significantly reduce the impact of microfibre shedding and prolong the life of your products. Read more about that here: Tackling Microfibres.

Really pleased with my beautiful Medina Tangier rug for my living room and matching runner for the hallway. As described on the website. Neutral colour and soft feel like a natural fibre. Prompt delivery to my 2nd floor flat door. Sustainably wrapped, the bag will be put to good use for growing potatoes on my allotment. Highly recommend.
We have a smallish version of this rug in our bedroom. It's perfect for a neutral room. The design is great, I love the natural colour tones, and it really feels like a high-quality woollen rug. Definitely recommend using underlay with it for extra comfort and to stop it moving on a wooden floor.
Really pleased with this rug. I bought the largest size and it looks lovely. I would not normally buy such a light colour, for practical reasons, but was attracted by the fact that this is washable. Our puppy peed on it a few times which I treated with a carpet cleaner. This left an even more unsightly brown stain but I have just washed it in a commercial machine at a low temperature (20 min cycle) and it has come up perfectly! The hardest bit was lugging it to/from the launderette. Nice one!
Beautiful Rug with a simple style that would fit to many interiors. Very good quality and it is great with kids. Easy to clean, so far we had no problems with stains. And of course we love that it is made of recycled plastic bottles. We also purchased couple of cushions and we are very happy with them too.
