Cleaning & Care
Whether it's one of our super tough kilim rugs or a soft, intricate open-weave throw, our products are all easy to maintain and machine wash clean.

Spot cleaning
Most Weaver Green textiles, especially our rugs, cushions and throws, probably won't require regular washing. From time to time, you might need to spot clean small stains or spillages, which is easy to do with a solution of warm water and a small amount of mild detergent - just remember to shake our or vacuum any loose debris first. For more stubborn stains, you can add a dash of white vinegar to the mixture, always remembering to rinse well with clean water and blot dry.
Try to act as quickly as possible - addressing a stain promptly makes it much easier to remove. Rather than scrubbing at the stain, we recommend gently blotting, working from the edges inwards, to avoid it spreading further into the fibres. For larger stains and general cleaning, see our washing machine guidelines below.

Machine washing
All of our rugs, throws and cushion covers are machine washable at 40 degrees using a non-bio detergent. For larger rugs (over 180 x 120cm), we recommend taking them to your local launderette, where a bigger machine will make the job easier.
After a spin cycle, our rugs and textiles come out almost dry. Simply hang them up for a short airing and they’ll be ready to use again in no time. If you’ve hand or spot washed, allow a little longer and let them dry naturally on a washing line.
Do not tumble dry!
